Shoppers Drug Mart is pleased to announce that Shoppers Optimum Members™ will now have the opportunity to donate Shoppers Optimum Points™ to various organizations online. These points can be redeemed on behalf of the organization for discounts on purchases at Shoppers Drug Mart stores, according to the terms of the Shoppers Optimum Program™. To do so your organization will be required to follow the steps listed below:

1. Select a trustee to act as the cardholder. The trustee must have an active email address in order to receive notification of donations.

2. Next, the trustee must apply for a Shoppers Optimum Card by submitting the online enrollment form at http://www.shoppersdrugmart.ca/donate/apply.html. A representative of Shoppers Optimum will review the application and contact the applicant to finalize the registration process.

3. A Shoppers Optimum Card will be issued to the trustee. This card will receive all points donations attributable to your organization.

Once the organization is registered, supporters will be able to go online and log into the program where the balance of the supporters individual Shoppers Optimum Points will be displayed. The person will then be asked to choose the organization, and how many points they wish to donate. Upon doing so, a confirmation email will be sent to the points donor as well as to the trustee.

The trustee will then have the ability to redeem the points at Shoppers Drug Mart by presenting the organization’s Shoppers Optimum Card™ in store. The organization’s Shoppers Optimum Card must be presented at the time of purchase.

The organization’s Shoppers Optimum Card™ will be issued specifically for the purposes of receiving donations and redeeming Shoppers Optimum Points for merchandise at Shoppers Drug Mart stores. The ability to change the cardholder profile or transfer points from this card to any other card will not be available. The trustee will be able to view the organization's Shoppers Optimum Card™ point balance online.
