How do I know if I qualify for a Medication Review?

Anybody taking medications theoretically qualifies for a medication review. In terms of eligibility for payment, some insurance companies cover medication reviews under their health and wellness umbrella. So patients can check with their insurance companies to see if this is a billable expense. Most provinces in Canada have government coverage as well for medication reviews, depending on patient eligibility. So the best way to determine if this would be something that you would be eligible for as a patient is to pop into any one of our Shoppers Drug Mart stores and speak to one of our pharmacists who can determine the exact eligibility requirements for you personally.

Whether you have questions about your prescription medications, over-the-counter products, immunizations, or other health concerns, our pharmacists are here to help.
