How do we build resilience and what preventative measures can we take to support our mental wellbeing?

There are many things that we can do in our lives to build resilience. Whether that be exercise, or having a healthy diet, certainly getting enough sleep, or building connections and relationships with others - whether that be virtual or in-person. All those things help us be able to better weather the storm when things in our lives happen. For instance, if you’re a runner, or maybe like to swim, or walk, or whatever that may be - you find something that is good for you, and certainly practice that daily if you can. Complimenting that with a healthy diet, trying to ensure that you’re eating your three regular meals, drinking lots of liquids, and also making sure you get 6-8 hours of sleep, or whatever it is that works for yourself. And like I said, certainly touching base with others, and making human connections makes a huge difference in our lives, to be able to handle stressful situations when they arise.
