I had a flu vaccine last year, so I don’t need to get one this year.

Because the strains of the circulating influenza virus are constantly changing from year to year, and waning immunity, annual influenza vaccination is recommended. Each year, new vaccines are made to protect against the viruses that are being spread for that season. Optimal protection against influenza, season after season, is best achieved through annual influenza vaccination and is your best chance to protect yourself and others. It will be more important than ever before to have as many individuals get vaccinated, given the current COVID-19 pandemic. It will be devastating to be affected by both influenza and COVID-19 at the same time, and we all need to do our part to not overwhelm our healthcare system.

Whether you have questions about your prescription medications, over-the-counter products, immunizations, or other health concerns, our pharmacists are here to help.
