Perhaps you imagine a prescription of Instagram worthy meals with the expectation that you are to consume more veggies than you can accurately name off.
This couldn’t be further than the truth. Dietitians are experts in food and nutrition and are there to help make complex food science palatable. Their advice is always based on sound scientific evidence, and so you can trust that they will not be selling you the latest fad diet or gimmicky magic pill.
Their recommendations are tailored to the individual by taking into consideration, lifestyle, values, mental health and other key determinants of health. So, no matter your health challenges and goals, a dietitian can support you in making changes that you can sustain. They will also help you grasp the practicalities of cooking, embrace your relationship with food, and find the joy in eating.
