Wrinkle Reducers
Wrinkle Reducers are injectable products used to treat ‘dynamic wrinkles’; the wrinkles caused by repetitive facial movements that over time, leave an impression, or wrinkle, in the skin. They effectively reduce the activity of the muscles underneath the skin to create a smooth and refreshed appearance.
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP)
Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) hair treatment involves separating platelets from your blood and injecting them into targeted areas of your body.
To obtain these platelets, a small amount of your blood is drawn, similar to a blood test and spun in a centrifuge. The platelets contain powerful proteins and growth factors. When injected into the scalp, the platelets can stimulate thinned hairs to grow thicker.
Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Photo-rejuvenation
Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Photo-rejuvenation is a full facial treatment used to address a wide variety of skin concerns including pigmentation, discolorations, facial veins, sun damage, uneven skin texture and tone, flushing and rosacea.
By stimulating collagen, IPL may also help your skin to take on a smoother, more even appearance, resulting in an overall improvement.
Spot & Facial Vein Removal
Spot & Facial Vein removal uses Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) technology on small areas of the face. The goal is to reduce the red and brown pigmentation from occasional broken capillaries (small facial veins) in addition to isolated sun spots, age spots and other facial discolourations.
IPL uses light energy to break up and reduce the pigments that underlie skin discolourations.
Picosure Laser Treatment
Picosure® Laser Treatment is similar to Laser Skin Renewal in that it improves the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, large pores, uneven skin texture, diffuses redness and even some types of scarring. Picosure® has additional benefits in that it requires fewer sessions to achieve results, less downtime post-treatment, and the ability to treat darker skin tones.
Microneedling
Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, is used to treat skin laxity, fine lines, wrinkles, sun damage, broken capillaries, and acne symptoms.
Microneedling uses a series of tiny punctures into your skin to stimulate your own collagen and elastin. The result is a tightening effect can smooth texture, tone, and reduce a wide variety of skin concerns.
As an added benefit, special topicals can be used to help boost your skin’s hydration and provide other beneficial nutrients as the micro-tunnels created by the tiny needles allow products to reach the deeper layers of the skin.
Chemical Peels
Medical grade chemical peels can be used to treat a wide variety of skin concerns, including acne, melasma, pigmentation and discolorations, congested skin, sun damage, uneven texture and tone, oily skin, enlarged pores and dehydrated skin.
Peels gently soften the bonds between the skin cells to allow your skin to exfoliate revealing the fresh, healthy skin underneath. They also help stimulate your skin’s natural renewal processes, including collagen and elastin production, to help keep your skin looking clear.
Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion helps to stimulate your skin’s natural exfoliating process. It removes dull skin cells resulting in clearer, smoother, softer and a more even appearance to the skin.
Treatment is most often completed on the face, neck, hands and arms, but can be done on other areas of the body as well.
Lash Enhancement
The Beauty Clinic offers Latisse®, a Health Canada approved product, for Lash Enhancement. Clinical studies show Latisse® can be used to grow longer, fuller and darker eyelashes.
The treatment helps lengthen the active growth cycle of the eyelashes, allowing more lashes to grow for a longer time period.
